Taylor Howe Fahlstrom
Taylor grew up playing soccer, doing gymnastics and water-skiing. She attended college where she studied psychology and played soccer, leaving college after her freshman year to pursue her dream of becoming a massage therapist and help people heal through bodywork. While in massage school she fell in love with Pilates after experiencing firsthand the physical, emotional and spiritual benefits of controlled movement. After completing massage school she traveled to Thailand where she continued her bodywork training.
When she returned from her travels she completed comprehensive Pilates training through Power Pilates and graduated in 2005, and she has been a full time teacher ever since. Taylor treats everyone as an individual and works with a wide range of ages and abilities. Over the years she has fallen even more in love with Pilates after witnessing so many clients heal and transform their bodies—and their lives—through Pilates. When Taylor isn’t teaching she loves spending time with her husband Jason, daughter Lily, dog Koa and her mom and dad.
Jodi received her comprehensive Pilates certification from Peak Pilates and has been teaching since 2012. She enjoys working with all clients, whether it’s to get a great workout or to help clients meet their specific goals. In her free time, Jodi enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, and dog.
Jennie was born and raised in Arizona. Although she was a very active child, a healthy lifestyle wasn’t modeled in her home. While pregnant with her first child she was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. This diagnosis forever changed her life, moving her to seek out a deeper understanding of health and wellness.
After she gave birth, she enrolled in a mat pilates class at a local gym. It was love at first breath. After many years of throwing around the idea of furthering her own practice and sharing what she loves with others, she graduated from the Rocky Mountain Pilates teacher training program. In her spare time, Jennie loves to workout, shop, work on creating a comfortable and aesthetic interior for her home, hang with her three kids and husband, and soak up as much of the outdoors as possible.
Kristen started Pilates training in 2005 with Richard Rossiter at Pilates of Boulder in order to keep in shape through graduate school. Mark completed his 500-hour yoga teacher training and feel.focus.flow™ in 2019 and has studied various modalities of meditation and yoga including vinyasa, yin, restorative, and yoga nidra. Mark uses all his years of self-study and incorporates them into his own unique style of teaching to help guide others into their bodies and find healing and deep peace from within.
He truly believes and embodies the notion that, Yoga is not about being flexible or even making yourself flexible. It is about meeting your inflexibility within and without kindness and curiosity. It is about holding ourselves in gentleness and finding our true selves by coming into our bodies with love rather than an agenda to fix or change something.
When we allow ourselves to feel, with presence and honesty, we seek to evolve and grow but still consistently allow self-compassion and grace to flourish beneath the effort.
Mark is also a level 2 reiki practitioner and often incorporates this healing modality into his classes. When he is not teaching, Mark is spending time in his art studio or hanging out with his 4 dogs.
Elizabeth’s teaching style is presence-oriented with attention on breath and body alignment. Her yoga classes invite a soft gentle flow accompanied by mindfully held stretches. When it comes to the body, there is no perfect or shaming, only honoring limitations and celebrating freedom. As for the mind, a little quiet goes a long way. Set the tone for the week ahead at an outdoor gentle yoga class on the studio’s veranda. Settle into poses designed to soothe the nervous system and relieve tension. This class meets Tuesday mornings at 11AM through October.
